Sleeping With You

Some people like to drive hot cars, they like to pump the bars,

but I like sleeping with you, sleeping with you.

When we snooze like slugs in a sack I donít want to come back

unless I wake up next to you, sleeping with you.

I fantasize about your shut eyes.My daydreams are all about my

night dreams, sleeping with you.

Some people like all kinds of kinks; they like to mix their drinks,

but I like sleeping with you, sleeping with you.

I love your ways when weíre in a daze, when we lie like lumps

on the bunk, on the level with you, sleeping with you.

Okay, youíre great when youíre awake, but the frosting on the cake

is when weíre zonked out, sleeping with you.

Plunge in the ocean, honey; youíre my coast.

The world is cold, but weíll be warm as toast.

So turn off all the electric bother.Tell your mother and father

donít disturb me when Iím sleeping with you, sleeping with you.

Cause Iíve got too much to do, like kicking off my shoes and

lying down and sleeping with you, sleeping with you.

And when the floor is bare weíll say an evening prayer

and if God really cares Iíll thank her that Iím sleeping with you.

Come early morning, darling, donít forsake.

Life is too short to spend it all awake.

So just give me a loaf and a jug and Iíll be snug

just as long as Iím sleeping with you, sleeping with you.

With you to hold Iíll be out cold as quick as a wink; Iíll be linked

in sleep with you, sleeping with you.

Just wake me up every hour and a half to remind me

that Iím sleeping with you,

sleeping with you.
